Grupo Addvalora redefines its business areas and expands engineering services to the latam region with the creation of Addis Latam
For years, Grupo Addvalora has been increasing its service offering to all its clients, in many cases through acquisitions of companies working in these different activities.
Last October, the entire range of services and lines of action were reorganised, with the Board of Directors approving a Strategic Restructuring of the Group from which four major business areas emerge.
We understand that this redefinition allows for a better visualisation of the wide range of services provided by the Group, as well as a better rationalisation of our resources.
Ultimately, with this new configuration, the structure of Grupo Addvalora is consolidated into the following four areas:
LOSS ADJUSTING AND VALUATION
This is the Group’s main line, present in all countries where we operate and dedicated to the valuation/adjustment of damages and losses, both for the insurance sector and other areas (legal and judicial disputes, corporate valuations, inheritances, competition disputes…).
Over these 22 years, we have developed multidisciplinary teams and specialists capable of valuing in a vast number of fields: motor, personal injury, property, civil liability (general, professional, product, employers’, D&O), forensic accounting, cyber/telecommunications/IT, fidelity, credit and surety, engineering, construction, energy (oil & gas, wind, thermal, nuclear, solar, biomass), mining, machinery, environment, jewellery and fine art, and transport (aviation, marine and land).
Today we operate in the four regions where we have a presence: Europe, the Middle East, the United States/Canada, the Caribbean and LATAM, through our brands Addvalora Global Loss Adjusters, Aviamar and Barberá Peritaciones.
ENGINEERING
The Group currently has two engineering firms, providing a wide range of services to our clients:
Addis Ingeniería y Seguridad, which offers three major service lines:
- Risk Engineering: inspections, fire protection system safety projects, business continuity plans.
- Forensic Engineering, focused on the investigation of all types of accidents: traffic, fires, machinery breakdown, electrical damage, occupational, theft.
- Self-Protection and Emergency Plans, for both private companies and public administrations. We work in all these fields in the Middle East, Iberia and Latin America.
TEAM INGENIERÍA, a company in which Addvalora participates. Through it, we extend our services to the fields of civil works, construction, environment and energy, in the markets of Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, the United States, Colombia and Ecuador.
OUTSOURCING (BPO)
Our objective has always been to offer global solutions. Therefore, we have strengthened our value proposition in process outsourcing, integrating the experience of Addgestión with the recent acquisitions of Axioma Integral and Teorema Legal, firms with extensive experience in the sector.
This synergy allows us to offer a comprehensive solution that covers the total or partial outsourcing of operations, highlighting services such as:
- Claims opening and handling.
- Specialised recovery management.
- Captive management.
- Implant and Contact Centre services.

At Addvalora, operational efficiency is underpinned by a strategic technological commitment.
We have our own IT Department, formed by a robust team of highly qualified technicians, who not only automate our internal processes to ensure agility and security. We go a step further: our IT team acts as a strategic innovation partner for our clients, offering bespoke software development, technical consultancy and application creation.
We are prepared to face technological challenges both within and outside the insurance sector.
CONSULTING
We have decided to concentrate the activities we have been developing all these years in the field of training and advice to our clients into a fourth area of consulting and channel it through our former company Aseper, which evolves and transforms into Add Consulting y Formación, to provide services, fundamentally, in the following fields:
- Strategic consultancy and integral support.
We act as your strategic partner, offering assistance and expert vision to all market players: insurance and reinsurance companies, mediators/brokers, loss adjusters and policyholders, during the entire cycle/process of risk management and transfer to the market, through policy stress tests, analysis of insured sums, identification and categorisation of risks….
- Conflict resolution: mediation and arbitration
In an environment where conflicts can be costly and prolonged, we provide technical knowledge that allows for an agile resolution of conflicts.
- Training
We design and deliver bespoke training programmes, updated to the reality of the market.

The above reorganisation implies two corporate changes in the registered names of two of our companies:
The company Addis Investigación y Seguridad S.L. is renamed Addis Ingeniería y Seguridad S.L..
The company Aseper Gestión del Riesgo y el Siniestro S.L. changes its name to Add Consulting y Formación S.L..

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION IN THE ENGINEERING AREA WITH THE CREATION OF THE SUBSIDIARY ADDIS LATAM
In parallel to this redefinition of our activities, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our engineering activity to Latin America, with the creation of the new subsidiary Addis Latam, located in Brazil.
The company commenced operations on 21 October, incorporating four engineers under the technical direction of Rafael Belem Hey, an Electrical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the adjustment and management of highly complex claims in industries and energy systems. Rafael is a specialist in investigations and technical evaluations of events such as fires, machinery breakdown and electrical damage, mainly in the areas of electricity production, transmission and distribution.
Addis Latam will offer the insurance market the following services: Fire and Explosion Investigation, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, covering a wide range of lines (engineering, property, natural catastrophes, general and professional civil liability, lease bonds and surety insurance).
