Grupo Addvalora acquires Barberá Peritaciones SL
As a key step in our 2025-2028 strategic plan, Grupo Addvalora is pleased to announce the acquisition of Barberá Peritaciones SL, effective Monday, June 2nd. This acquisition, approved by our Board of Directors, will be instrumental in reinforcing our leadership in the Spanish market and advancing our planned international expansion into Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Barberá Peritaciones is an adjusting firm that has established itself as a leader in the Levante area. Their team of over 20 highly qualified professionals effectively manages a wide range of claims. The firm’s services also include risk inspection and asset valuation.
Carlos Barberá, the founder, partner, and CEO of Barberá Peritaciones, is an engineer with over 30 years of experience as an insurance loss adjuster. His career began with developing engineering projects as a freelance professional before he dedicated himself exclusively to loss adjusting in 1992. His diverse background also includes previous experience in sales and a two-year period as a temporary lecturer for the Generalitat Valenciana. This dedicated focus on the loss adjusting field has allowed him to cultivate deep industry knowledge and build a solid professional network. 
The acquisition will be structured in three stages, with Grupo Addvalora’s entry into the shareholding set to be completed by 2029. Carlos Barberá will continu e to lead the company for the next four years, and it will operate autonomously as another entity within Grupo Addvalora. The aim is to continue serving clients with the same professionalism and dedication that has always characterized Barberá Peritaciones, now enhanced by the resources (technical, material and human), support and experience of Grupo Addvalora. With this operation, the Group reinforces its expert network by incorporating 20 highly qualified professionals and strengthens our position in certain strategic clients for our corporation.
