ADDVALORA LATAM unveils a new Regional Management team
In response to the significant growth experienced in the Latin American market over the last 15 years, ADDVALORA announces the appointment of a Regional Director for LATAM, a position which will be held by William Fernandez Miranda and which will be combined with his current position as CEO in Brazil. William will report directly to the Group’s CEO, Ignacio Lorenzo, and will work closely with the local directors of the Group’s consolidated network in LATAM.
William holds a degree in Economics and Administration from Estácio de Sá University and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento Gerencial (Brazil). With more than 45 years of experience in the insurance industry (30 of them as an adjuster), William has a vast experience in the management of highly complex claims, especially in fire, energy and financial risks. His career includes 21 years at IRB Brasil Re and 14 years as CEO of Addvalora Brasil. Previously, he worked as Superintendent at Crawford Brasil Reguladora de Sinisteros.

With this change, the American continent is now structured into two major regions:
The Northern region, comprising the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, under the leadership of Sergio Mairal. In the US, we provide service throughout the territory through our teams located in our Houston and Miami offices and through our network of collaborating adjusters present in all states. In Canada, we cover the entire country through a network of adjusters. In the Caribbean, through our offices in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic and our correspondents in Jamaica and the Bahamas, we can provide a comprehensive service in all the islands.
The LATAM region, led by William Fernández, which will cover the Group’s nine offices and franchises (in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil) and our network of correspondents (in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama and Uruguay).
This appointment represents a giant step forward in the service we offer our clients, a comprehensive service, but with a marked regional character, which will take advantage of the synergies between the teams in the different countries, sharing knowledge and experience and attending to the idiosyncrasies of each country, which will result in an improvement in internal communication and corporate efficiency.
LUCIANA CORREIA HEY, NEW COO OF ADDVALORA BRAZIL
Luciana Hey has recently been appointed Chief Operations Officer of Addvalora Brazil, where she will lead the day-to-day operations of the company, reporting directly to William Fernández.
Luciana holds a Law Degree from Faculdade de Direito de Curitiba and a Master in Commercial Law (LLM) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She has over 20 years of experience, 16 of them in the insurance market and is a specialist in Property, General Liability, Guarantee, Surety, Surety Bond, Recoveries and Consultancy. In addition, he organises courses, conferences and seminars on the field of Insurance-Guaranty, principally.
